    Lovely! It's raining heavily again here at the moment, might have another day off work tomorrow. I will have to try to take a couple of photos of the rain looking so pretty to cheer myself up!

    Oh, you do seem to have got stuck with some REALLY wet weather... I love the glad game you've managed to play with these pictures, though! (reminds me of my own attempts with snow crystals in the winter storms)

    Cooler winds have reached us now but the sun is back too.

    Looks like lavender, or maybe salvia.

    Katherine: It's a delphinium which is well over a metre tall.
