On the way home from the Wirral we came up the West Coast which is the route that CJ and I use to come up because, amongst other things, the Uig to Tarbert crossing is shorter and usually calmer than the Ullapool to Stornoway one. We were blessed with fabulous weather and just the right light for photography although as I was driving mine was limited. Coming up Glen Sheil past the Five Sisters of Kintail we came across a couple of Hell's Angels who turned out when we exchanged the time of day with them to be about our age. Note the gorse - about which more later.
