ReplyDeleteAh - I've just understood your comment, Heather. We tend to call them 'rods' over here.
ReplyDeleteYes, Heather, there were some very edible sized fishes. It is so long since I picked up a fishing rod that, until you mentioned it, I'd forgotten that I even had one because I gave most of them (mine and the ones the children used to use)away.
