Walled Garden Tearoom, Dunsford

Yesterday after our walk in Dunsford Woods we decided on lunch and decided firstly to try the Royal Oak in Dunsford. Having managed to negotiate the huge ridges in the car park entrance (which one couldn't see from behind the wheel) by driving down them much to the upsettance of the car and the surprise of the passengers, we decided that The Walled Garden Tea Room was a much better option and the car had to be moved. It was worth it.

The 17th centuary cob cottage has a walled garden with lovely views. On wet days the beamed tea room is very cosy. High cobed walls protect the garden full of cottage plants.
