One of the (many) Good Things about Stornoway is the way visitors are helped to find their way around. All over the centre of the Town are pedestrian signposts. I parked in Bayhead (Drochaid) a few days ago to go into a shop and became aware of the signpost just a few yards away. It is not just informative , it is also very attractive. The coat of arms depicted is the old Stornoway Burgh coat of arms which I think is a thoughtful touch.
