Tomorrow at 0730 I leave for France. I would really like it if the weather was warm and if the sun was to shine and if the wind was to be a gentle breeze. But, hey, if it's cold and dull and windy the company will still be as warm as it is here in Glasgow, the wine will still be red and the fig salad will be, well, fig salad!

GB the fig salad will be ' Divine ' and the red wine local, both with little carbon footprint, and, the weatherman says warm and sunny.

ReplyDeleteEnjoy ! And travel safely. (Oh yes, and arrive safely if there's a difference.)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your journey and enjoy your arrival even more.
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to the "storm" yesterday? We had a very warm and mostly sunny day - no wind and no midges up here in Lewis - spent the day in the garden. I waited all day for something spectacular to happen and it didn't!
Enjoy....I'm still watching your journeys with interest. Warm wishes, Jaz x
