Privet Hawk Moth

In Villeneuve one day a Privet Hawk Moth paid us a visit.

  5. looks quite beautiful...did you know they identify one another (and their surroundings) by scent? Just think - mapping the world by smell - so very different to the visual human world we inhabit...

  6. Yes. It was less than happy when I flipped it over but it was pretty lethargic. It was a fairly worn specimen.
