After my posting about dreams earlier today I looked up from my desk this evening and there was the culprit: the Full Moon rising. I love the moon. I have several postings in my New Zealand blogs about the moon.

The top photo of the moon in the distance was taken on my Olympus but I had better come clean about the close-up moonshots. I take these with my little old Canon Ixus 60. The secret is that I use my spotterscope to look at the moon and then I photograph the image by putting the lens of the camera to the eyepiece of the scope. Simple but effective.
