A Lonely Ruin

When Wendy and the children and I were at Callanish last week I took stock and saw things I’d not seen before.  We were there long enough for the sky to have some very different moods:

  1. Another couple of wonderful images! Wow. lovely light effects. I get the feeling the clouds were racing along...
These two remind me so much of a journey along the banks of Loch Ness that my daughter and I took four years ago.

  2. Evokes such different emotions through a photograph. I wonder, did you feel it while you were there?

  3. Weather and light can do so much to change the impression of a view and especially in a landscape like that. Well caught.

  4. Weather has a lot to answer for. Not only can it change how we feel but also how we feel about what we see. I love that first shot, with the little ruin bravely sitting there through everything life has thrown at it, including that big dark cloud.
When I first saw your heading I was wondering who the Lovely Ruin was!!
