Whilst in Glasgow I went for dinner at a friend's - a friend whom I've known for many years and who is an honorary aunt to the children of my New Zealand 'family'. She lives in a penthouse: the only person I know who does. As the evening turned into night the view which was beautiful and impressive to start with became even more beautiful and impressive:
