Sometime One Just Gets Lucky

I was sending a text standing on a friend's doorstep because the cellphone signal was very poor in the house.  Something fell between my nose and the phone (without touching either!).  I looked up to see a bird fly off the gutter.  Now that's what I call being lucky.

  1. You might be lucky but the poor bird has probably been banished from the firing range.
I'm afraid I'm one of the people who would have laughed had he not missed.

    1. It's come to something lisa when one can't even stand in a doorway without the aerial terrorists having a go.

  3. You are a lucky guy....but I think the bird is probably swearing to himself, "DARN I can't believe I missed him!"
Although I have a mental picture of you trying your best to clean that stuff off from your cell phone and swearing at that bird....
