The Watermelon

Today Jeffrey cut up The Watermelon.  It deserves a capital T W on the basis that it's the largest one I have ever actually seen for sale.

    Wow! I've never seen one that size either and it led me to googling the largest one, shown here with other record-breaking fruit & veg:

      Thanks Helen. Some of those really were rather ugly and unappealing but our watermelon compares well.

    Oh my word, that is HUUUGE! I'm sure there was enough for everyone and then some. Now I feel like eating watermelon, it looks tasty.

      Yep. It was BIG Virginia. It's taking a while to eat as well even though there's 6 of us.

      Yes Meike it really was. I thought it might be tasteless but everyone was well pleased. I have a very poor sense of taste so am not the best judge but even I enjoyed it.

      I'm not sure we'd have got a cc more fluid into it Mark. Not that vodka for breakfast is something with which I could cope.
