It's been strange acclimatising to Lewis again. Four seasons in a day isn't unusual for the Island of course. But the cold wind has been a bit of a shock to the system. This has been fairly typical: bright sun and then a heavy shower coming through.

Oh, Graham...I absolutely LOVE this photo!! Of all that you've shared through my years of following, I want this one as a print. May I?
ReplyDeleteHow lovely of you to say so. I'll email you separately Heather.
DeleteAw, but it is so beautiful. That's what I always say to make excuses for Scottish weather, but isn't it true?
ReplyDeleteThanks for your recent comments on my blog, Graham and I hope you're now totally recovered. And I hope the sun comes out soon, for all our sakes !
I've now had a check-up and a clean bill of health. Thanks Jenny. And yes, whatever the weather, Scotland is beautiful.
Deletegorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks Norma.
DeleteBrrr... it looks chilly too. I can see the wind, feel the brisk chill. Is it pleasant in your sun room with the sunshine coming through the windows but out of the breeze? A wonderful image.
ReplyDeleteThe sun room is HOT even on the coldest day when the sun is shining. It's a great place to sit and read a book. I nearly said 'chill out'. Funny thing the English language.
DeleteIf I were you I'd stay warm indoors and just enjoy taking in that view - which is very pretty on a day such as this. Oh, and your garden is looking good!
ReplyDeleteI have been thanks Pauline. Today I shall have no electricity because of system maintenance so if the weather holds I'll be in the garden quite a bit today.
DeleteYou certainly seem to have caught the weather changes all in one picture here - and those birds (gulls?) circling too. It would make a nice poster ;) We've been having similar weather changes here, minus the sea view...
ReplyDeleteStill got the pigeons, I see!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you back, and what lovely sunshine too!
ReplyDeleteWhat stunning scenery and a beautiful rainbow! I could get used to that.
