Saturday Something

Walking along the main road in Callander recently, one of the group suddenly asked if we could spot what was wrong with this sign. I have to admit that I didn't get it instantly.

  1. Callander must be a swinging town.

  2. The lamp is on the wrong side of the post. I wonder how that happened.

  3. Neat sign
It's nice to a sign that creates smiles.

  4. Our one way signs are always in one, not arrow and words on two separate signs. Therefore, no such fun is possible with serious German signs. (But other fun is, of course.)

  5. That's funny our road signs are on the left hand side.

    1. Amy, it is the light, not the sign, that is the wrong way round.

    1. I suppose so, Cro, but the light is a little pointless lighting the back of the sign.

    1. It was an awful lot of work, Kylie. However back in the day it was that or nothing to cook on and nothing to heat the house. Wel if there is graffiti on the back of the sign it would be well lit.

  8. Ha, ha! Yes, there was a similar sign near us and I would always say, "Let's go that way, to heaven!"
Alas, they have fixed it now and Richard can't hear me say that anymore. I bet he is glad, you know I said it EVERY SINGLE TIME. LOL.
