Oh, my gosh! That is SO my Shasta!!! I think she was the fastest Australian Shepherd on the planet. Even more so if there was a beach and a ball involved!!! Love, love, love these photos, Graham!!!
I love your dog pictures, you have done others which also capture the sheer exuberance of a dog having fun. Dogs always make me wish I could have fun in the same way. Although they are all wonderful photos, the third in the sequence is absolutely amazing!!
Brownie and I approve of these Molly photos.....she is a cutie. Watching dogs having fun and playing can bring the biggest smiles and laughter out of me.

We may be apart but when I look at the sky and remember that we are standing on the same earth, looking at the same moon, somehow you don't seem so far away after all.
LIFE
Life isn't about dawdling to the grave, arriving safely in an attractive, wrinkle-free body but rather an adventure that ends skidding in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, totally worn out, screaming "Yee-ha. What a ride!!"
Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass… It’s about learning to dance in the rain. (With thanks to shabby girl ofA Travelling Fish)
But what are plans other than more restrictions? (With thanks to Pauline)
Feeling young is fabulous but growing old is a blessing!!! (A comment on this blog by Jaz who used to writeTreacy Travels.)
The trick to pushing 70, GB, is to push back -- hard!!! (A comment by Carol aka Canadian Chickadee who comments but does not blog)
Having lived the majority of my life in the Hebrides where my heart is, I feel I can now call myself a Hebridean. For nine years I lived half my life in New Zealand: a country I love. It was an honour being a part time Kiwi.

Thanks Lisa. I remember your posts of Shasta so well too: a beautiful dog.
DeleteIs there anything more beautiful than a happy dog, running and playing? xoxox
ReplyDeleteI can't think of anything at this moment Carol.
DeleteI've possibly said that before, but every time I see a dog running and playing so happily, I think it must be ace to have four legs to run with.
ReplyDeleteI have enough problems with two Meike! I do take your point though and watching Molly in full flight is breathtaking.

ReplyDeleteI agree Jenny that there is a certain joi de vivre that dogs have that we just can't emulate.
DeleteYour camera did well with the last shot. Not easy to focus when they are running towards you.
ReplyDeleteThere were a fair few that went into the bin Adrian.

I think it is a very sad person who can't feel and share the joy Virginia.
DeleteWell captured moments... You must have a fast camera :)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to think, Monica, that it was skill but it's a combination of perseverance and luck - and, yes, the camera's pretty responsive too.
