ReplyDeleteWell said Graham.
ReplyDeleteThere sure are a lot of people who deserve our gratitude! Thanks for the reminder, Graham.
ReplyDeleteKia kaha
Kia mihi Graham. Arohanui :) xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteAmen ❤
ReplyDeleteAll these people need to know that they are highly appreciated,
ReplyDeleteAmen.
ReplyDeleteThose who are knowingly putting themselves at risk every day are the real heroes of the day.
ReplyDeleteDitto your sentiments one hundred-fold, Graham.
ReplyDeleteAnd brickbats to all those behaving badly...those acting like ignorant, greedy idiots.
Yes to all of it.
ReplyDeleteFabulous post. It should be shouted from the hilltops.
ReplyDeleteI ought to have isolated ages ago as I see you have caught colouring in syndrome from me. I don't think you need to worry as it is annoying and not fatal.
ReplyDeleteAgree 100%

ReplyDeleteThank you for your comments and thoughts everyone. I should, by the way, have included a translation of the Maori. It means Be strong, be brave, be steadfast.
ReplyDeleteI know I might be making enemies here (there are folks that literally rant against Amazon) but THANK YOU to Amazon, for providing me the means to get necessities to my mother, who lives many miles away and out in the countryside, and the means for myself to get hold of loo paper that is nowhere to be found in any store near me, and the means to keep my kitties and my bird fed and well-littered! Amazon ROCKS - even in a crisis.
ReplyDeleteAs it happens, Marcheline, I, and many who live in remote places in the UK like I do, rely these days on Amazon for many things that we cannot buy in local shops. They are one of the on-line companies who will deliver here and, if it's sold by them directly, free of charge.
DeleteWell said. Arohonui Graham.
ReplyDeletekia haumaru
Thanks, Amy. I'm very fortunate to be in isolation so as safe as can be in these times. I feel almost guilty in saying that I am actually enjoying the isolation (but not as much as I'd be enjoying 'real' life).
DeleteSo many wonderful people. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteStrangely, Jules, every time I look at my 'list' I think of so many people in 'essential services' who could have been mentioned.
