They say copying is the sincerest form of a flattery. Flattery, however, is insincere. This copying is a very sincere compliment to YP.

I have enjoyed following your life this year through your blog and your visits to mine where we have shared thoughts and views of things, probably more than here if the truth be known, but the content of our blogs are different of course. Happy Christmas Graham and thank you.
ReplyDeleteThank you too, Rachel. We do discuss more on your blog because you blog a lot more than I do and, more to the point, you blog many more 'challenging' subjects. May it long continue.
DeleteMerry Christmas and a very healthy and Happy New Year x
ReplyDeleteThank you JayCee. At least you are having a warm Christmas. Mind you it was sunny all day here if a tad chilly.
DeleteMerry Christmas, Graham and my very best wishes for the New Year. X
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jules. I hope that you and Lily have a Good Year.
DeleteHappiest of Christmases and most Blessed of Yules to you, dear friend! The warmth of friendship is heartier than the biggest log fire, and reaches across the ocean without extinguishing even a single spark. May the New Year bring you good books you haven't yet read, great wine you haven't yet tried, and anything and everything else that makes you smile!
ReplyDeleteThank you Marcheline. I wish that I had your way with words. I hope upon hope that the year ahead is a better one for you and Bear.
DeleteMy very best Christmas wishes to you, Graham. I hope your Christmas brings you much joy, happiness, love and good health. May 2020 treat you kindly. Take care...and thank you for your kindness and your friendship. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, too, Lee for being part of my Blogworld as I am part of yours.

ReplyDeleteThank you, Red. May you and the Micro Manager have a very happy year.
DeleteMerry Christmas to you and your loved ones, too, and may 2020 bring you 366 good days!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Meike. Well now I know that 2020 is a Leap Year which is something I hadn't thought of. It will be handy having the extra day given the people who have said they will be visiting in February.
DeleteMerry Christmas Graham!
ReplyDeleteThank you Pipistrello. May your Elf lead your Goat on many adventures.
DeleteMerry Christmas Graham, and may all of our best wishes for 2020 come true!
ReplyDeleteThank you Monica. Wouldn't it be lovely if we had a wish every year that would be granted. We would have to consider when to use it. If we decided to save it for an emergency something silly would happen such as "I wish it wasn't raining" and then that would be your wish gone until next year.
DeleteGraham, that's pretty much how it goes in the classic children's book by Edith Nesbit, Five Children and It - "It" being a Psammead, or sand fairy, that can grant wishes... I think it was one wish per day there, but the result was similar anyway (or worse!) ;)
DeleteHappy Christmas, Graham.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mary. I'm not sure why I didn't say that earlier. I think I was too busy trying to find out who you are.
DeleteHappy and Healthy 2020, Graham. Very glad to have discovered your blog this year.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Regina M. I hope that you have found it interesting.
DeleteAnother wish for health and happiness in 2020, to you and all your family, friends and us - the readers!

DeleteSame to you Graham. A proper photograph.
ReplyDeleteAye, Adrian, taken in the sun on Christmas day 2010 in New Zealand. Yesterday the bubbles would have frozen in mid air. That's an interesting thought. How low a temperature can you blow bubbles in?
DeleteWonderful photo, full of light and air and sparkle. When I was in NZ in November that's what I noticed about it too. Happy Christmas and a good 2020 to you, Graham.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jenny. May 2020 be a Good Year for you too.
DeleteMerry Christmas Graham, may 2020 be a great year for you.
