My New Zealand Family Visits

Life’s been really full on for more than a week with my visit to Callander and Glasgow and with Wendy and the littlies since we arrived back on the Island last Sunday.  We’ve been fortunate in having wonderful sunny weather although the children are bemused by the fact that we are in the middle of summer, it’s light all through the night, it’s sunny but there is a cold wind (force 6 yesterday but a gentle force 4 today) and the temperature before the wind chill is only 12 deg!  To give you a flavour of life here at the moment here are pictures of just one of yesterday’s exploits down on the beach at Horgabost in South Harris:

Avoiding Dragons: Out of the Mouths of Babes

I have just read a post which tickled my sense of humour no end. If you are troubled by dragons or love children or don't like children but want to know why you should or just want a laugh then you just have to read Pauline's latest post at The Paddock about St George and The Dragon.
