Peacock Butterfly

This afternoon there was a Peacock Butterfly Inachis io on the Sedum.

    For a moment I wondered whose blog I was on - having taken a lot of butterfly photos myself this month, a few peacocks included... A wonderful display of colour! :)

    I think butterflies are the best reason to grow sedum. They turn it into a moving work of art.

    I still haven't worked out why my huge (relatively speaking) Sedum patch attracts bees but not butterfliues.
