Feed Me!
This year I’ve had an abundance of small birds in the garden but Greenfinches outnumber Sparrows which is unusual. This family have a lot of hungry mouths to feed so my seed feeders are emptying at an alarming rate.
I have a suggestion: Put up a sign at the birdfeeder saying - Please eat the midges first and then I'll give you get some extra yummy seeds for dessert! ;)
These photos are delightful! You did a great job taking these. They make me smile.
I'm going through a LOT of seed as well. This year has brought so many sparrows, many more than I've had in years past. I've also been putting out suet & the house finches, thrashers, and cactus wrens love it!

GB - I am so sorry to hear about your son...I am guessing it was a while ago, but I am sure the sadness is still there.
ReplyDeleteI'm sending you a hug!

They are delightful, GB.
ReplyDeleteThat poor doesn't get much rest, does she. Even when the youngsters aren't squabbling, they look like they are about to.
