The Full Moon
After my posting about dreams earlier today I looked up from my desk this evening and there was the culprit: the Full Moon rising. I love the moon. I have several postings in my New Zealand blogs about the moon.
Ooooohhhhhhhh!!!!!! I'm SO jealous of your zoom lens, excellent camera, and photography abilities!!!!! ;^) ;^) ;^) I took shots of the moon last night, but they did NOT turn out like this! ;^) WONDERFUL!!! Thank you for sharing! ;^)
I have yet to get a good picture of the moon. I keep thinking there must be a setting on the camera, but I haven't figured it out yet. These are great!
The top photo of the moon in the distance was taken on my Olympus but I had better come clean about the close-up moonshots. I take these with my little old Canon Ixus 60. The secret is that I use my spotterscope to look at the moon and then I photograph the image by putting the lens of the camera to the eyepiece of the scope. Simple but effective.

Great shot of the moon :) - I can't get that close.

Beutiful and mysterious...
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful, G.B. I too love the moon. So mysterious, and it's pull seems to have such power over us mere mortals.
