Homeless or A New Meaning to Organic Beans
I was just cutting up the green beans when I came across this little fellow. It was to be a vegetarian dish so I decided to eject him. Of course one can't do that without photographing him first. Anyone know what make he is?
I think he / she is the caterpillar of a micro-moth. I cannot find any macro-moth that has such a caterpillar and I cannot find beans as a foodplant in my caterpillar book (which surprised me!)

ReplyDeleteOh John - how you disappoint me! I thought you of all people would be definite in your information!
ReplyDeleteWhat' this Graham? A new career as a caterpillar trainer? Was it begging for food or mercy?
