I've never seen a moth like that - one reason I always enjoy reading your posts is that I often get exposed to exotic creatures.raehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10808097290710098393noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6784891745623390957.post-90532336213585902512011-07-09T17:00:45.167+01:002011-07-09T17:00:45.167+01:00Ah my favourite moth. There seems to be less now than when I was younger and I don't think I've seen one for a few years now.

I remember one evening (possibly because the tale has been told so often rather than me actually remembering it) when I was really unwell with my astham and my parents were having problems getting me to calm down enough to be able to breathe properly. All of a sudden a magpie moth landed on my bedroom window and I started to watch it wonder around through the glass. Within no time I'd forgotten to panic and had calmed down enough for my breathing to recover. So not only a wonderful looking moth but with medical benefits. Although having said that don't do what my brother did -- play with the caterpillars and then lick your fingers. Man was he sick!Markhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02418527698793489162noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6784891745623390957.post-53350015975204784862011-07-09T06:01:46.150+01:002011-07-09T06:01:46.150+01:00Do you have gooseberries in your garden?
