It's not very high though so the ascent is over relatively quickly.Graham Edwardshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11196744947133121475noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6784891745623390957.post-45528358689982715572014-09-01T07:25:09.155+01:002014-09-01T07:25:09.155+01:00No Virginia. If it wasn't for the grass and the blue sky, it could be just as well on the Moon... or tinge it with red hue and you get Mars. Such a wonderful place. It didn't like me, it showered rock on ice on me. I was frightened and afeared. I decided it was not for me. at the age of forty years ago I failed again on the Eiger on a fast ascent. Boardman and Tasker who where just testing me? Glad I wasn't picked for Everest they are dead. I am alive but I remember after I'd done Zero gully on the Ben I shouted to the two shirt uppers That I'd heard a whistle to my right. They both came down an found a lass and a bloke. The bastards didn't even break the cornice or me.ADRIANhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07113961163396562781noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6784891745623390957.post-10939073311853604022014-08-30T15:41:07.116+01:002014-08-30T15:41:07.116+01:00Beautiful photos and lovely scenery.Beautiful photos and lovely scenery.Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12692170857496442623noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6784891745623390957.post-87744915392599753122014-08-30T14:54:31.757+01:002014-08-30T14:54:31.757+01:00Nice comparison of the two climbs.
