The Birds Are Back

A few years ago I took a photo of 78 Sparrows lining up on the fence waiting for me to fill the bird feeders. For the last two years there have been very few Sparrows although a small number of Greenfinches have been regular and loyal visitors. Of course the Rock Pigeons and Starlings never diminished. I've come to terms with them now. A few days ago this was the scene in the garden:


The birds are back.

    The middle photo looks like something out of Karloff's "Birds".
