Now the odd thing is that I just made the assumption because it is so like a Citroen van. However I happened to come across something else and then went exploring. My photo is not sharp enough to read the badge on the front but it clearly isn't a Citroen badge. I have since discovered a much better photo and that the badge appears to be, in fact, a Commer badge. The only problem is that I can find absolutely no information about such a van on the internet. Can anyone help?Graham Edwardshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11196744947133121475noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6784891745623390957.post-73784294572695304262013-10-27T15:32:55.667+00:002013-10-27T15:32:55.667+00:00Cute little Ice cream vans!!Cute little Ice cream vans!!Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17541748309832254889noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6784891745623390957.post-3334215147573568392013-10-26T19:42:35.644+01:002013-10-26T19:42:35.644+01:00The old Renault vans were brilliant hill and bog n...The old Renault vans were brilliant hill and bog negotiators. Used for a lot of off road country work and Dad maintained the Bradford could go place a Land Rover could not. Firstly because it was much lighter than a Land Rover and more importantly was a couple of inches narrower so squeeze down narrow tracks and between two trees which the Land Rover could not. On the road, on a good Day, going downhill, it would reach the exciting speed of 40 Miles per hour, because there was no fan behind the radiator when going slowly it would "Boil" rather well. No Heaters, No Power Steering, no Radio, it just went.<br />Peterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15390728057303887868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6784891745623390957.post-7458031349034967652013-10-24T10:31:57.044+01:002013-10-24T10:31:57.044+01:00Yes a Ford Popular.

The Citroen is an H type van and they stopped making them over 30 years ago having been made between 1947 and 1981. That looks a pretty old one to me. The type of windscreen wipe may be a give-away but I can't date it. I'm not sure about the one I think may be a Ford but it will be around 1960ish if it's a Ford I think.Graham Edwardshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11196744947133121475noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6784891745623390957.post-5696112827141567942013-10-23T15:21:35.437+01:002013-10-23T15:21:35.437+01:00No Mersad I didn't try it.
